Root Veg Rosti with Sausages and Caramelised Onion chutney

A comforting, easy tray bake. Perfect for bonfire night and winter parties.

What you will need

6 Heck Pork Sausages
Selection of grated root veg such as:
1/2 celeriac, 1 carrot, 1 potato, 1 turnip
Wholegrain mustard, 1 tbsp
Sage & Thyme, chopped
Olive oil
Shaws Caramelised Red Onion Chutney
Salt & Pepper

Method

1. Pre-heat the oven to 180°C/Fan 160°C/Gas 4
2. Coat a roasting pan with olive oil and pop in the oven
3. After 2 minutes add the sausages to brown slightly, for around 5 minutes
4. In a bowl, mix the grated vegetables, 1 tbsp mustard, herbs, salt and pepper to season
5. Add this mix to the roasting pan of sausages making sure the sausages are on top of the veg mix
6. Put the pan back in the oven for 30 minutes
7. Remove pan and add a dollop of Shaws Caramelised Red onion chutney on top of each of the nestled
sausages and return to the oven for a further 10 minutes
8. Serve on its own or with some green veg
